Keep in mind that if you are using the new Microsoft Edge browser, this browser is built off of the Chrome engine, so some similarities in how it performs might. Hold the ⌘ Command and ⇧ Shift keys down and then press the R keyīypassing the cache and reloading a webpage is a great first step for solving some problems with websites, but it won't always fix the problem.Hold the ⇧ Shift key and click the Refresh button with your mouse.Use any of the following actions to bypass your cache and fully reload a page: Reloading a page in Edge on Windows and Linux Here is a list of alternative ways that you can tell Edge to bypass its cache and reload the page that you're currently looking at, depending on the Operating System you're using. Doing this may not be enough to fix any caching issues you are having, so make sure to hold ⇧ Shift down when you click! Other ways to bypass the cache and hard refresh a page in Edge Note: If you only click the Refresh button without also holding ⇧ Shift, Edge will still reload the HTML but it usually won't also reload the images, styles etc for the page. When you hold ⇧ Shift and click the Refresh button, Edge will completely reload the page that you're currently looking at it will freshly download all of the HTML, Images, Styles, JavaScript code etc and re-display the page.
